Deliveries Wednesday through Friday



Hello Freshgreens Family,


I hope you all had a relaxing and rejuvenating three-day weekend. We found out last minute that we would be closed on Monday—our apologies for not letting you know sooner! With that, this week will be a short one, with deliveries running from Wednesday through Friday.


There have been so many big life moments happening for us over here. This past weekend, we had the profound honor of celebrating our beautiful daughter as she stepped into her maidenhood. She was surrounded by her sacred Aunties and goddess sisters, wrapped in love, wisdom, and tradition. I spent all of Saturday cooking, preparing some of her favorite dishes, including our beloved Autumn Glow Salad (one I’ve shared with you all countless times!). This time, I added extra garlic to the dressing and a whole pomegranate—it was a hit! I also made a cured olive and date spread over labneh, Baba Ghanoush, rose almond cookies, and chocolate chip cookies for my boys. My soul sister lovingly dipped our strawberries in chocolate, and we snacked on our Tasmanian cherries as we shared our wisdom. It was a feast in every way, and we were extra grateful to have Monday off to rest and soak in the beauty of it all.


Paulo has been extra busy today, so we only have a couple of new items this week—but there’s still plenty of goodness to choose from!


NEW THIS WEEK!


ORGANIC MIXED BABY KALE – A tender mix of baby kales, perfect for salads, smoothies, a quick sauté with garlic, or a nourishing addition to soups.


KOHLRABI – A hidden gem that not enough people know about! With a crisp, juicy texture reminiscent of a radish or broccoli stem, it has a mild, slightly sweet, and peppery flavor. Enjoy it raw in salads and slaws, or roast, steam, or sauté it for a delicious side. It's packed with fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants—so versatile and so good for you! Years ago, a customer sent me a Shaved Kohlrabi Salad with Basil and Parmesan recipe, and it has been a favorite in our home ever since. Simple, fresh, and full of flavor!


That’s all for now! It looks like we’re in for a warm week—a big shift from last week’s rainstorm. I’m still holding out hope for more cozy, rainy days ahead.
